its how gbaemu4ds does it thing as it uses the DS's ARM7 CPU to hypervise the GBA's ARM7 CPU. Hypervising in simple terms means you "translate" CPU instructions or code to work on a very similar CPU. There's processors, memory, special coding, and all sorts of other stuff in a 3DS that might be hard to emulate. Well, assuming that "hypervised" means "faster" (I've never heard the word before), Yeah some sections of 3DS emulation would be faster than the 3DS itself.īUT it's not just CPUs in there.
